Why do we
not sell warm water units?
Answer.
Jetty
is designed to attach to a natural water OR warm water outlet. A natural water outlet is
available near every toilet, hence it is most easy and economical to attach Jetty
to a natural water outlet. All our customers, including one in the coldest parts
of the USA and Canada have attached Jetty to a natural water outlet. Many have
been using it happily for last three winters. It is very rare to find a warm
water outlet near the toilet. If a customer chooses to spend money to bring a
warm water outlet then the same Jetty can be connected to the warm water
outlet. Warm water outlet MUST have water at a comfortable
temperature.
We do not sell Jetty with built in
water heater that requires electricity because of the following two reasons
:
- It would significantly increase the
cost of the unit itself.
- It would require the installation of
special electric outlet behind the toilet. Installation of such an outlet usually
requires cutting the existing wall
to pull the electric line, which requires the services of a professional electrician and painter. The
additional cost of installing an electric outlet, repair and repainting of the
wall increases the final price of
the product significantly.
- Water and the electricity does not go
well together. Having an electrical
outlet near the water tank of toilet greatly increase chances of accidents – especially when young children are
around.
